Berkeley iPad Apps

Applied Information Group (AIG) has created the first iPad installation in the UK.

Weeks in advance of their UK launch, AIG has adapted iPads for guests staying in seven luxury suites at The Berkeley, the 5-star hotel in Knightsbridge owned by Maybourne Hotel Group.

The Berkeley’s guests will be able to enjoy using their iPad to read national and international newspapers, entertain children with interactive games, and research the best places to visit and eat in the local area.

What they might not enjoy quite so much is the price tag for a one night stay - around £1,850.

No doubt a few affluent early adopters will want to check this out, and the Hotel Industry seems to believe that the iPad has a number of practical uses, as this article suggests.
